IceVista’s Brendon Grunewald has been interviewed as part of a new book called Hoek Af, to be published in December 2015.
Hoek Af, a book about Entrepreneurs in Belgium from different walks of life, in different sectors etc is the brainchild of Eric Kenis, someone that has been involved with driving innovation and entrepreneurship in Flanders, Belgium for many years.
About Hoek Af
(Translated from the website, which is in dutch)
Belgium, like the rest of Europe needs Entrepreneurs. Not every John or Jane however can be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are “different”.
In his first book about entrepreneurs, Eric Kenis interviews 21 entrepreneurs. Their stories of failure, restart, lessons learnt, case studies etc in the open. Human interest meets business interest.
In addition, two leaders in the countries entrepreneurship landscape, namely Jo Libeer and Jurgen Ingels provide their insights on entrepreneurship and growth.
Eric Kenis also rings an alarm bell for the government, corporates, investors and startup entrepreneurs themselves. He provokes them with “is Belgium not the “Africa” of the entrepreneurs world?”
Besides being easy to read the book is illustrated with photographs from Lies Willaert.
